Holy crap, you have eyes! :P

My thoughts in Lockdown that I wrote for my forum. Not sure if this comment system uses any kind of code or anything, so there my be a bunch of smiley codes, bold codes and an image code in there too lol.

Garrett Bischoff, RVD, Mr Anderson, Austin Aries & AJ Styles Vs Eric Bischoff, Gunner, Bully Ray, Christopher Daniels & Kazarian - Lethal Lockdown

So, Lethal Lockdown starting the show, huh? Can't complain, means the show gets started on a positive; either Garrett is gone or Eric is gone! :D

So Garrett is starting the match. Even more positive; means we get to see him get his arse kicked for the ENTIRE match :D. Damn, he's starting it with Gunner. So did Garrett train with Chavo Guerrero? I ask because he offence seems to consist of nothing but dropkicks :p.

Yey, Bully is in next :D. Double team on Garret. KILL HIM!

Aries is out next, and he and Bully go at it. Kinda wish they had a singles match here, but I guess given them some interaction inside LL can allow them to continue their feud over to the next PPV where they can have a singles match, as it didn't really warrant being in a cage (though lets face it, how many matches on this show every year really warrant a cage match lol?).

It seems that Aries is more focused on going after Bully than helping Garrett, and it costs him and the rest of the team when he starts getting beat down. Garrett is already down, and with a 3rd man coming in for Eric's team, its not good for the babyfaces.

The heels do a real nice job of using their 1 man advantage to keep the match going the way they want it to. Eric is the final man for his team (duh) and he holds his own son as Bully Ray and Gunner chop the SHIT out of his chest. Awesome.

Final man overall is RVD, and he comes in guns blazing, kicking the shit out of everyone, while Bischoff (Eric) cowers in a corner hiding behind Bully Ray :lmao.

Despite being at a disadvantage for the majority of the match, the babyfaces are able to turn things around once the roof lowers and the weapons become available. They take everyone out with the various weapons, and that leaves Eric Bischoff all on his own :D. Doesn't matter to me which Bischoff gets killed here, I hate both equally :D.

AJ and Kazarian start battling on the ropes, and instead of just, like, jumping back down into the ring, Kaz decides to climb out into the middle of the ring using the roof, and its more than obvious that they are just setting up to a spot, which involves Kaz being knocked back to the ring and AJ landing an elbow drop while hanging from the roof. Still, not nearly as bad as some of the shit Kofi Kingston has done in the Elimination Chamber, in terms of clearly doing something to set up a spot.

Everyone is down and out, leaving Eric of all people as the last man standing, with a Kendo stick to beat the crap out of his son. He gets cocky and turns his back, allowing Garrett to get up and deck his own dad with a Guitar! One, two, three, this one is over. No more Bischoff! Now... can we get rid of the other? :)

This was fun. A hell of a lot better than I was expecting considering I really don't like at least half of the guys in it. Luckily the people I disliked the most didn't do THAT much; Garrett got beat up mainly, Eric coward in a corner mainly, and Anderson barely did anything at all (that I noticed lol). I'd sooner watch this match again than Rock/Cena from WM.

Also, was there NO BLOOD? That's actually pretty awesome. Keep the blood for the main event if you can.

Samoa Joe & Magnus Vs Motor City Machine Guns - TNA Tag Team Titles

Nice starting sequence here; Magnus and Shelly go back and forth, neither man being able to hit anything until BAM. Clothesline from Magnus. Kinda like they were showing us that both guys are good, but Magnus might just be that little bit better, which he and Joe basically said in their promo on Impact last week. Then Magnus makes a mistake by letting Shelly get too close to his corner allowing a tag to be made, showing that the Guns still have the experience factor over the tag champs. IMO a nice way of establishing both teams based on the promo last week. I could be looking into this way too much, buy hey, that's kinda what I do when I review matches lol.

Again I'm really liking how both teams are being established so far. Joe and Magnus claim to be the best team currently, while MCMG claim to be one of the best ever (in TNA). And from this, as both teams go back and forth trying to gain control you can see their differences which perhaps back up their claims. Magnus and Joe on their own can stay in the ring and beat the hell out of whoever is in there with them, then make a tag only really when they need to, while the Guns make quick tags as often as they can, showing better teamwork and their experience. Both teams going back and forth like this is really good imo before they set up to (hopefully) a nice big FIP. Better than both teams just going 100 miles an hour hitting big move after big move for 20 minutes just because they can, something I'm not a fan of and something I really hated in the best of 5 series between the Guns and Beer Money a couple of year ago.

:lmao at that ONE guy chanting Motor City at on point. Maybe other people were doing it too, but you could literally ONLY hear him.

So the FIP never comes, but honestly I'm not that bothered here. Both teams going back and forth fighting for control, working their own unique tag style to try and do it and prove THEY were the best team worked perfectly with the story here. Plus with any luck they'll have a rematch and with both teams more used to each other so to speak, we might see one team (Joe & Magnus probably, since they are sortof the heel team) take what they learnt in this match and use it to their advantage to really take control of the match.

Anyways, yeah, enjoyed this match too. Was looking forward to it anyway, and luckily it didn't disappoint. Also, again, no blood!

D-Von Vs Robbie E - TNA TV Title

Yawn. D-Von sucks. Robbie sucks. I don't watch explosion so I haven't seen either guy in christ knows how long. Don't care in the slightest for either man or this match. Hope its short. Doesn't matter who wins either because the TV title is meaningless. Have D-Von drop it to someone that matters next week and let them actually defend it on Impact or something.

So they do stuff. Then D-Von hits a Spinebuster out of nowhere. Its over. Didn't last long. Thank fuck.

3 matches and still no blood! Keep it up TNA!

Gail Kim Vs Velvet Sky - TNA Knockouts Championship

Urgh. Velvet Sky. She's about as talented as most of the WWE Divas. And for any slow people, that's NOT a compliment.

LOL at Tazz taking a shot at Jerry Lawler. No doubt a receipt for Lawler's comment about Bruce Pritchard's heart attack from WM.

Thought this was pretty bad. Kim looked alright, but Velvet was pretty awful imo. She just looked so awkward doing almost everything. I appreciate that it was a PPV match and inside a cage so they wanted to do something "big", which ended up being the sunset flip powerbomb from the ropes, but it looked so slow and badly done lol. Finish was dull and shitty looking too.

Rating: 1/4*

Flair promo :mark:. Dammit, Hogan promo too. Teasing ANOTHER match between these two? God I hope not.

Matt Morgan Vs Crimson

Morgan is gonna rape Crimson. In the butt. At least, that's what I took away from his promo before the match :p.

Guess I was right!

Seriously... Morgan could have won the match in like, a minute? I don't mind the fact he could have won but decided to stay in to beat the fuck out of Crimson some more, only to lead to him losing control and whatnot, as that's a decent little story... but after such a short amount of time? Urgh.

Well this was dull. Boring finish too lol. Nice crossbody from Morgan to Crimson who was standing against the cage at one point. But that was about the only thing worth mentioning.

Rating: 1/2*

Angle Vs Hardy was next, but I skipped it. I just really don't want to sit through it. I CAN'T sit through it. The last time I did I nearly went insane due to the amount of utter bullshit they threw at us.

ODB/Young Vs 2 other women also happened. I'm getting bored of this show now so I just want to skip to the main event.

Robert Roode Vs James Storm - TNA World Heavyweight Championship

:mark: been waiting for this one! Best built match since Cena/Punk MITB 2011 imo.

Storm jumps Roode before he can get into the cage, and they begin to beat the hell out of each other on the outside. No getting in the ring and trading holds and doing reversals and whatnot; its all about HATE. This match needs to be a brawl and they are giving us that right from the get go!

Storm is the one in control here; he wants to destroy his former tag partner. Roode turned on him. Roode took the world title from him. Roode brought up his dead brother and father. Storm is going to END Roode. But Roode isn't some hack with the title (Hi Miz! :) ), he's one of the best wrestlers going today and he showed during his time with Beer Money that he too can brawl with the best of them. And with the use of the cage, Roode is back in the driving seat and Storm is BUSTED WIDE OPEN. First time we've seen blood tonight, and I have to absolutely commend TNA for making the concious decision to not have anyone else bleed before this match. Makes it all the more meaningful.

Now that Roode is in control, he takes the match inside the cage because that's the only place this one can be won, and Roode, as bad as he wants to get at Storm too, mainly just wants to beat him and leave with the title. He can't do that on the outside.

Roode is awesome as he talks smack to his former friend and tag partner, all the while targeting the bloodied head. Eventually all the talk just fires up Storm as he begins a comeback, showing Roode that is ISN'T a nothing, and a little blood on his face isn't going to stop him. Now its time for Roode to bleed!

Match feels a little weird here imo. Yeah, Storm firing back after all the shit Roode said to him and busting him open as revenge was good and all, but it felt a little too quick imo. Personally I think Roode shouldn't have been busted open until near the end, having it as a big moment and use it to lead into the finish or something. Having it in the middle imo screws the match sructure up a little and forces them to kinda go into a finishing stretch too early. And they kinda do that but then slow things down again and honestly it feels forced.

Things start to pick up again though, with Storm looking like he was going to leave, but Roode flips him off and Storm decides he's going to come back down and superkick him to hell and win the title THAT way. Unfortunately the referee ends up taking the kick, and Roode is about to walk out and win! But this is personal to him too, more so now that he's been busted up. He grabs a beer bottle, and in a nice throwback to their match last year which started this whole thing, Roode smashes a bottle over the head of Storm! Will he retain the title in the same mannor in which he won it? 1...2... kick out! Roode is beside himself and then... BAM! Last Call Superkick out of nowhere!

Storm is too out of it to make the cover though, and Roode is able to get back up. One more time... Last Call Superkick! But Roode is knocked out of the cage through the door, and lands on the outside! Roode retains the title via the Last Call! How ironic for Storm; the move he built up as THE match ender did indeed end the match, just not the way he wanted it! Gotta say, I really was expecting Storm to leave with the belt here, but I genuinely loved that finish.

Overall, I am a little disappointed here. Luckily, not TOO much. Its still a really good match. Starts off great, ends fantastically imo, but there was that one point in the middle where I thought things got a little awkward but they recovered from it really well and in the long run it didn't affect my enjoyment much at all. So yeah, thought this match could have been something a little more, but it was still damn good and as I predicted, better than anything from WM aside from Punk/Jericho and Undertaker/HHH :p.

Having it in the middle imo screws the match sructure up a little and forces them to kinda go into a finishing stretch too early. And they kinda do that but then slow things down again and honestly it feels forced.

Things start to pick up again though, with Storm looking like he was going to leave, but Roode flips him off and Storm decides he’s going to come back down and superkick him to hell and win the title THAT way. Unfortunately the referee ends up taking the kick, and Roode is about to walk out and win! But this is personal to him too, more so now that he’s been busted up. He grabs a beer bottle, and in a nice throwback to their match last year which started this whole thing, Roode smashes a bottle over the head of Storm! Will he retain the title in the same mannor in which he won it? 1…2… kick out! Roode is beside himself and then… BAM! Last Call Superkick out of nowhere!

Storm is too out of it to make the cover though, and Roode is able to get back up. One more time… Last Call Superkick!

Starts off great, ends fantastically imo, but there was that one point in the middle where I thought things got a little awkward but they recovered from it really well and in the long run it didn’t affect my enjoyment much at all. So yeah, thought this match could have been something a little more, but it was still damn good and as I predicted, better than anything from WM aside from Punk/Jericho and Undertaker/HHH :p.

Rating: ***3/4

Regarding the Lesnar/Cena storyline, it'd be nice to know that the WWE is still leaving bread crumbs from Cena's previous 'bring-the-evil-out-of-Cena' run with Kane. For instance, Kane tries to bring the evil out of Cena, but Cena "RISES ABOVE HATE" by finally defeating Kane, and moving onto The Rock at WrestleMania, which he (Cena) considers to be the "biggest match of his career". He fights, he loses, and the next night on RAW, he covers his mental wounds by praising The Rock, stating that "Dwayne" has earned his respect and that he is the greatest and yada, yada, yada. So, Cena calls out Rock, who doesn't come out to the ring, but instead.. at the drop of an arm, Brock's theme song hits.

With The Rock declaring a run for the WWE Championship, just one night removed from his win over Cena at Mania, he leaves Cena hanging in the ring on RAW, only to be interrupted by Brock. Again, Brock's theme song hits, the crowd explodes, people are celebrating his return, the guy with the spiky hair on the front row possibly has an erection in his pants.. Brock makes his way into the ring where Cena is grinning and applauding his return for whatever reason. Brock calmly steps into the ring, pulls the old "get-the-fuck-ova-here, sucka" handshake, throws Cena over his shoulders like a bag of puppy chow. From there, Brock just walks around with Cena on his shoulders for what seems like an eternity - all the while, Cena does NOTHING to get away from Brock. Instead, he just lies motionless across Brock's shoulders, ultimately being slammed to the mat with an F5.

While it's still too early to tell what they're exactly going to do with the Brock/Cena storyline, it would be fantastic if Lesnar was the final "nail in the coffin" (Vampiro, FTW) for Cena's face character. After going through so much: always being the "good guy", preaching "HUSTLE LOYALTY RESPECT", "RISE ABOVE HATE", "NEVER BACK DOWN, NEVER QUIT!", getting shunned and booed by fans, being a constant target for the hate from others, he finally loses all "LOYALTY AND RESPECT" for being the guy that he has been for so long and snaps.

I won't hold my breath, though. So many times, I've wanted to "C" the WWE flip the script with Cena and switch him to a heel character. He definitely has the ability to play the heel role, and with him currently being the "Dudley Do-Right, RISE ABOVE HATE" HERO - from a die-hard Cena fan's point-of-view, this is the ultimate "Joker/Batman" angle all over again. Even the greatest of heroes can fall to the evil. Sure, good guy goes evil has been done so many times, but hey.. it's always fun to see, in my opinion.

Wooo! Been way too long since the last NHB ep!

The thing with Jericho having no beef with Kofi... didn't Kofi pin Jericho on the Raw with the god awful debate? Not saying its a good reason for Jericho doing what he did to Kofi, but I guess its A reason, and when it comes to WWE, any reason is usually better than the random shit they do lol.

Don't remember much about the PPV. Hell, I'd forgotten so much about it that most of the clips you showed actually seemed new to me. That's how boring and uneventful I thought it was.
